Mrs. Minton had owned restaurants, including Minton Restaurant in downtown Jonesboro. She enjoyed bingo, word search, and crafts.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one son, William ''Buck'' Bobbitt; a grandson, Terry Brown; two sisters, Hazel Walker and Margaret Carter; and two brothers, Raymond Armstrong and Les Armstrong.
She is survived by her son, Jim (Cheryl) Bobbitt; her daughter, Judy Gail (Joe) Brown; three brothers, Wayne Armstrong, Butch Armstrong, both of Jonesboro, and Dale (Martha) Armstrong, of Annieville, AR; six grandchildren, Andi Bandy-Smith, Paul Bobbitt, Lisa Bobbitt, Michael Bobbitt, Lonny Spangler, and Kyle Spangler; and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be Tuesday evening, March 6, at 6:00pm, at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home, 1900 West Washington Avenue, Jonesboro. There will be a visitation 4:30-6:00pm prior to the service. There will be a private burial at a later date.
