Death Sun. in Town of Manitowoc, after a long illness, of John Schroeder. The deceased, who was born 13 July 1824 in Germany, came to America in 1852 and settled in the Town of Two Rivers. He leaves five children, his wife having preceded him in death many years ago. The funeral was held yesterday afternoon in Two Rivers.

John Schroeder, one of the pioneer settlers of the Town of Manitowoc, was buried in the public cemetery at this place last Wednesday. He was upwards of 80 years of age and his death was due to the infirmities of age. He was a resident of the Town of Manitowoc for more than 50 years.
