She was born Aug. 18, 1927 in Chenoa, daughter of Gordon Eldon and Josephine Mildred Boian Pool. She married Jay E. Morris on June 24, 1946, at Fairbury. He preceded her in death on April 16, 2000. She was also preceded in death by one son, Richard Morris; one brother and one sister.
Surviving are three sons, Mike (Linda) Morris, Evergreen, Colorado, Ron (Vivian) Morris, Bloomington and Douglas (Johanna) Morris, Towanda. Also surviving are 15 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Pud worked as a nurse’s aide at Fairbury Hospital from 1945 to 1958. She retired from McLean County Disposal in 1989, where she worked as a secretary and dispatcher. She was proud to be a volunteer for OSF HealthCare St. Joseph Hospital/Medical Center for 17 years. She also volunteered at RSVP for YWCA and the Community Cancer Center.
