Mrs. Hawkins was born in Darlington, SC on January 19, 1930 the daughter of the late Owen and Marie Windham Woodham. She was the widow of Allen Odell Hawkins. Mrs. Hawkins spent her youth in Darlington County. After extensive traveling during her husband's military career, she returned home to Darlington. She was a homemaker all of her life. She genuinely loved her family and her church. Nothing made her happier than spending time with children and grandchildren.
Mrs. Hawkins is survived by her sons, Owen Hawkins of Darlington, SC; Daryl (Betty) Hawkins and Jeff (Peggy) Hawkins of Florence, SC; daughter, Molly (Everette Smith) Hawkins; grandchildren, Vicky Hawkins, Brandy Hawkins, Christopher Hawkins, Stephen Hawkins, and Kevin Hawkins; great-grandchildren, Bryce Hawkins and Laynee Hilburn; brothers, Jack Woodham, Fredrick Woodham, Tommy Taylor, and Billy Taylor; sister, Jill Norwood; and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Hawkins was preceded in death by her brother, Francis Woodham and her sisters, Helen McKain, and Rosemary Taylor.
