Mrs. Barefoot, 73, died Tuesday, March 27, 2007 in Phoebe-Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany.
A native of Crisp County, she was the daughter of the late Julius Relford and Minnie Jewell White Powell. She was a homemaker and a member of Calvary Baptist Church where she had served as pianist for many years. She also enjoyed playing for gospel sings, other churches and nursing homes.
Mrs. Barefoot is survived by her husband, Loran Barefoot of Seville; two daughters and their husbands, Vicki and Richard Bush of Cordele, and Patricia and Lamar Cason of Warner Robins; a son, Jimmy Barefoot of Rochelle; six grandchildren, Scott Harvey and his wife, Debbie, Jeffrey Harvey, Justin Cason and his wife, Kelly, Kimberly Barefoot, Jennifer Barefoot, and Bryan Bush; and two great-grandchildren, Carly Lowe and Jayden Harrelson.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Reba Janice Powell.
