Funeral services for Mrs. A. Ruechert Sr., were conducted by Rev. Schumacher last Saturday June 16, from the Zion Lutheran church. The 71-year-old resident of this city passed away Tuesday evening, June 12. Mrs. Ruechert was born January 15, 1880 in Faribault Co. to Gotfried and Theresa Schostag. On Oct. 16, 1900 she married Albert Rueckert at Minnesota Lake, Minn. After living there and at Bird Island for a time the couple moved to a farm near West Union where they continued to make their home until Mr. Ruechert retired from farming in 1943, and moved to Sauk Centre. Left to mourn are her husband and 11 children. Interment was in the Lakeside Cemetery at Osakis.
