Our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother Vergia Nordberg Bullock passed away April 19, 2001 at the age of 92. We are grateful for her life and her example of love, kindness and strength in adversity.
She was born April 3, 1909 in South Jordan, Utah, a daughter of Hyrum and Lucene Beckstead Nordberg. She married Frank Bullock November 23,1932. They were married in the Salt Lake Temple November 16, 1951. As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she served as Primary president and Stake Sunday School Leader.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Doris B. and James R. Sanderson; her grandchildren, Sheri (Stephen) Montgomery and Mark (Sherry) Sanderson; four great-grandchildren and sisters Vera Stephens and Bess Coulter. She will be missed by all who loved her.
The family expresses thanks to the dear people at Holladay Healthcare for their kindness and care.
Services will be held at Goff Mortuary, 8090 South State, Midvale on Saturday, April 21st at 1:30 p.m. Friends may call one hour before the services.
