She was born on October 10, 1919 in Illyria Township in Fayette County, Iowa. The daughter of Kenneth R. and Stella Luce Holtzman. Minnie graduated from Maynard High School.
She married Richard L. Roquet on April 30, 1939 in Arlington, IA; he preceded her in death in February 1985.
Minnie was a homemaker. She was a charter member of Maywood Wesleyan Church and was active with the Wesleyan Women Missionary Ladies Group.
She is survived by two sons, Fred Roquet of Mt. Auburn and Stephen (Cheryl) Roquet of Evansdale; four daughters: Fran (Dean) Smith of Canton, KS, Beverly (Gerry) Frost of Waterloo; Barbara Roquet of Waterloo, and Debra (Larry) Joel of Ames; 30 grandchildren; 52 great-grandchildren; and many great-great-grandchildren.
Minnie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Richard; a daughter, Phyllis; eight brothers: Raymond, Harold, Arthur, Jesse, Elmer, Lawrence, Lewis, and Chester Holtzman; and two sisters, Hazel Bailey and Mattie Dillavou.

1:00 PM on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at New Beginnings First Wesleyan Church: 205 Hammond Ave. Waterloo.
Visitation
4:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Tuesday, Feb. 27 at Kearns Funeral Service Kimball Chapel; and for one hour prior to the services at the church.
