Clifford O'Neal Allen, 60, of Newton died Monday, February 19, 2018 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 23 at Travelers Rest Freewill Baptist Church with interment in the church cemetery. Rev. David Wolfe and Rev. Malcolm Parker will officiate.

Born July 20, 1957 in Mitchell County, Mr. Allen was the son of the late Robert Allen and Betty Musgrove Bentley. He was a member of Travelers Rest Freewill Baptist Church. Mr. Allen worked with the Department of Agriculture for the State of Georgia. He was preceded in death by a sister, Rena Kimbrell and twin sisters, Becky Wynell Bentley and Betsy Wynette Bentley.

Survivors include his wife, Diane Allen of Newton; four sons, Daniel Allen, James Aultman (Amanda), Lucas Allen (Lindsey), and Glen Allen (Amanda); two daughters, Priscilla Tucker and Susan Aultman; four sisters, Wanda Cramer, Rose Marshall, Sherry Corn, Stacy Rowell; one brother, Wesley Allen; and 14 grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, February 22 at Parker-Bramlett Funeral Home in Camilla.

Memorials may be made to Travelers Rest Freewill Baptist Church, 3784 Travelers Rest Rd., Newton, GA 39870.
