Funeral services for Drew Allen Childress, 76, of 312 Pine street, West Monroe, who died shortly after noon Saturday in a local clinic, will be held this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock in the chapel of the Hall Funeral Home with the Rev. E. L. Tanner, pastor of the Assembly of God church, West Monroe, officiating. Interment will follow in Hasley cemetery under the direction of the Hall Funeral Home.

He is survived by his wife; four daughters, Mrs. R. M. Harmon, Mrs. Aline Wiles, and Mrs. J. D. Logan, all of West Monroe, and Mrs. Dhu Thompson, Monroe; one son, Miller Childress, Houston, Tex.; one sister, Mrs. Clea Bryant, Bastrop, and four brothers, Robert Childress, Kelly, James Childress, Grayson, Henry Childress, Columbia, and Boatner Childress, New York City.

Pallbearers will be R. M. Harmon, J. D. Harmon, J. D. Logan, Jack Ray, Marzell Stinnett, W. M. Stokes Jr., and T. Fisher.

Logan of West Monroe; one sister, Mrs. Clea Bryant, Bastrop, and four brothers, Robert Childress, Kelly, James Childress, Grayson, Henry Childress, Columbia, and Boatner Childress, New York City.
