Mr. Howard B. West, age 85 of Scottsboro, Alabama passed away Sunday, February 18, 2018 at Huntsville Hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, February 23, 2018 at Scottsboro Holiness Church with Bro. Scott Cooley, Bro. James “Totchie” McLain, and Bro. Shirley Byrum officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Groves Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-9 p.m. Thursday at Scottsboro Funeral Home and from 10-11 a.m. Friday at Scottsboro Holiness Church.

Mr. West is survived by his wife, Carolyn West; daughter, Debbie Helms (Roger); daughter-in-law, Tina West; grandchildren, Chance Maxwell (Elisha), Jason West (Belkis), and Trina Helms; great grandchildren, Thomas Maxwell, Kelbis Perez, and Keisel Perez; sister, Eva Butler; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lige & Viola Cain West; son, Tommy West; sisters, Stella James and Clara Collins; and brothers, Leonard West, Floyd West, Clifford West, and Billy West.
