Earl Adkins, 71 of Wellington, KY, formerly of Pike County, passed away Friday, February 16, 2018 at his residence in Wellington surrounded by his loving family. Earl was born November 9, 1946 to the late Frank and Bertha Hunt Adkins in Belfry, KY.
Besides his parents he is preceded in death by four Brothers: Elmer Adkins, D.M. Adkins, Frank Adkins Jr. and Allen Adkins.
Earl is survived by his loving wife Mary Hunt Adkins of Wellington, KY; two Sons: Earl Jr. (Jennifer) Adkins of South Williamson, KY and Frank David (Beverly) Adkins of Wellington, KY; one Grandson: Austin Adkins of South Williamson, KY; two Granddaughters: Brittany Adkins and Hanna (Patrick) Sanders both of Pikeville, KY; one Sister: Linda (Danis) Chapman of Kimper, KY; two Brothers: Taylor Adkins of Phyllis, KY and Ricky Adkins of Kimper, KY and also a large host of friends.
The family will accept friends Sunday, February 18, 2018 at the Thacker Memorial Chapel beginning at 6PM. Funeral services will be held Monday, February 19, 2018 in the Chapel of the Thacker Memorial Funeral Home beginning at 11 AM with Danis Chapman officiating. Burial will follow in the Dotson Family Cemetery, Kimper, KY.
