Mr. Tucker, a veteran of service with the U.S. Army in World War II, was pronounced dead Saturday at 5:10 p.m. at St. Joseph Hospital, Lorain, after he was shot in the downstairs apartment of the West 14th St. duplex. He was a native of Grafton.
Surviving are his wife, Shirley; five sons, Jon, Marvin, Jeff, Harold and Gerald, all of Lorain; two daughters, Mrs. Sue Carver and Pamela Tucker, both of Lorain; three grandchildren; his mother, Mrs. Lottie Tucker, Lorain; two brothers, Irvin of Lorain and Clyde of St. Louis, Mo., and five sisters, Mrs. Blanche Smith of California, Mrs. Evelyn Hunkley, Elyria and Mrs. Farlene Glowaski, Mrs. Annabelle Puffer and LaVonne Tucker, all of Lorain.
Friends will be received today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
