Ellistown—Cecil Clayton Brown, 98, of Blue Springs, went home to his Heavenly Father on February 12, 2018, at Diversicare in Tupelo, MS.

He was a faithful and loving husband to Nadine Bell Brown for 64 years. He was the best Daddy in the world to June Easterling (Raymond Earl) and Lori Roberts (Jeff). He was a wonderful grandfather to Renee Easterling.

He could recite all the presidents of the US in order and knew all the states and their capitals even in his later years.

He served his country during World War II in the 1st Armored Division, 27th Field Artillery Battalion, Headquarters Battery of the United States Army. He was stationed in North Africa and Italy for the majority of the war. He loved his Lord, his family and friends, and his country.
