SPRINGFIELD - A celebration of life will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 3, at 1125 N. 58th St., Space 80, in Springfield, for Clyde W. Wagnon of Springfield, who died March 27 of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. He was 80.
He was born Nov. 12, 1926, in Arkansas to Hugh and Marie Franklin Wagnon. He married Mary "Peggy" Young on Sept. 25, 1949, in Ashland. She died on Feb. 15.
He served in the Navy for 12 years during World War II and the Korean War. He was an HVAC motor mechanic and a truck driver.
Survivors include a son, Russell of Tinton Falls, N.J.; a daughter, Delores Putzier of Coburg; three brothers, Kenneth of Eugene, Robert of Creswell and Jimmie of Arlington, Texas; and four grandsons. A son, James Stanley Wagnon, died in July 1958.
Inurnment will be at Lane Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Andreason's Cremation & Burial Service in Springfield. Remembrances to Cascade Hospice.
