Martha Ellen Sheets, 88, of Broadway, died Monday at Camelot Hall Nursing Home in Harrisonburg, where she had lived since February.
Mrs. Sheets was born January 21, 1901, in Rockingham County and was a daughter of the late Norman and Laura Alice Mills Stultz.
She was a member of Bethlehem United Church of Christ at Tenth Legion.
On July 19, 1930, she married William Gilbert Sheets, who died January 12, 1965.
Surviving are two daughters, Janalee L. Thompson and Clarene V. Jameson, both of Broadway, two sisters, Willie Humphrey of Harrisonburg and Tracey Gregory of Mount Vision, N.Y., nine grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Grandle Funeral Home in Broadway by the Rev. William Miller. Burial will be in Eastlawn Memorial Gardens.
