Ware Shoals – Laura Abercrombie Crawford, 97, widow of Charles H. Crawford, Sr., formerly of Sparks Ave., died Monday, February 12, 2018 at NHC of Greenwood.

Born in Gray Court, she was a daughter of the late Collier W. and Hattie Watkins Abercrombie. She was a member of Ware Shoals First Baptist Church. She was a homemaker and a seamstress.

Surviving are a son Herman Crawford (Billy Jean) of Ware Shoals, a sister, Helen Crawford of Greenwood, four grandchildren, Craig and Jay Crawford, Kerri Pratt, and Kristie Webb, and six great-grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by a son Ernie Crawford and a grandson, Saul Crawford.

Graveside services will be held at 3PM on Wednesday at Greenwood Memorial Gardens with Rev. Leon Jones and Rev. Dr. Marcus Bishop officiating.

The family is at the home of her son, Herman, 17 Green Acres Drive, Ware Shoals and will receive friends from 1:30 to 2:30 PM on Wednesday at Parker-White Funeral Home. Online condolences may be made at www.ParkerWhitePruitt.com
