Obituary:

Lenore Suzanne Dammann passed away Christmas morning, December 25, 1987 after a long illness with cancer.

Lenore was born September 12, 1935 in Worchester, Ma., the daughter of Ruth Torgerson Thune and Elger Thune Sr. She and her family moved to Adams, Mn. when she was a teenager. Lenore married Paul E. Anderson on June 14, 1952. A son, Kim David and daughter, Laura Alice were born to this union. Lenore and Paul shared 16 years on the Anderson Century Farm before his death on March 24, 1969. She was employed at the Farmers State Bank of Adams prior to 1970.

On June 6, 1970 Lenore became the wife of Myron Dammann. She spent the last 17 1/2 years of her life farming with Myron on the Dammann Century Farm south of Elkton, MN. They were involved in Swine Seedstock production and related organizations revolving around the Berkshire Breed.

Lenore was a life time member of the Little Cedar Lutheran Church in Adams where she was Sunday School treasurer for over 20 years. She especially enjoyed the many years of membership in the Little Cedar Senior Choir. Active in Circle, she also served as a Deacon.

She is survived by her husband, Myron; a son, Kim Anderson and daughter-in-law, Debbie of rural Adams; a daughter, Laura Hanson and son-in-law Keith of Mankato, Mn.; her mother Ruth Thune of Adams; four grandchildren; one sister, Barbara Panzer, Minneapolis; two brothers, Arnold Thune, Adams and Robert Thune, Austin; one aunt, Nora Torgerson, cousins, nieces, nephews and mother-in-law, Alice Anderson.
