Rollie Milton Evans, of LaPorte, Indiana, passed away Saturday, February 10, 2018 at Brentwood Assisted Living in LaPorte, IN. He was born December 17, 1916 in Manhattan, Illinois, the son of John M. Evans and Dora (Pagget) Evans.

Rollie Retired in 1981 from Delaney Furniture Store after 18 years of service. Rollie was a veteran of the US Navy during WW II.

He was very devoted to the Lord, he was a member of the La Porte Missionary Church, he was a deacon of the church and taught Sunday School for many years.

On April 29, 1939, in La Porte, IN, he married Lenora Mae Morehouse Evans who preceded in death on May 28, 1996.

He is survived by his son, Larry M. (Karen) Evans; daughter, Geraldine M. Marganti; seven grandchildren, Tammie (David) Baker, Gloria (Kevin) Francis, Lisa (Greg) Burnett, Melanie Kroczek, T.J. Green, Chad Green, Rahn Bates; two sisters, Nina D. Vairo and Eileen E. Garrett.

Rollie was preceded in death by his parents, wife, two daughters, Rita A. Griffin and Gloria Jean Evans, grandchild, Laura L. Bates, brother, Orville J. Evans.
