Nancy E. (Reay) Logan age 64, passed away on March 27, 2007 in her home in Boise, Idaho. She was surrounded and supported by her family at the time of her death. Nancy spent her childhood in Garden Valley, Idaho, where she graduated as the valedictorian of the Garden Valley High School in 1960. Nancy married George J. Logan of Boise, Idaho, in 1963. They had four children; Dana Logan, Dia Crevier, Shellie McKeown and Justin Logan. Nancy had a passionate commitment to her family and her church. In addition to being a full-time mother, she served in the church nursery, the church primary and was the Relief Society President for the Timber Creek Ward for four years. She also volunteered many hours in the Family History Program at the Idaho State Penitentiary. In all these roles, she was truly a "mother to many". She will be remembered for her tireless commitment, her sense of humor and her ability to make any place feel like home. Nancy also loved gardening and, indeed, was a Master Gardener. Everywhere she went, she left behind a legacy of flowers and landscaped beauty. She liked to spend her winters at the beach and her summers in the mountains. Some of her fondest memories were of traveling in France and Germany and visiting the White House at Christmas. In addition to her immediate family, Nancy is survived by five grandchildren; Morganne and Brigette Borup, Phoebe McKeown and Andrew and Nicholas Crevier. She is also survived by four siblings and her mother, Mary B. Reay. Nancy is preceded in death by her father David E. Reay. The funeral for Nancy E. Logan will take place at 11 a.m. on Tuesday April 3, at the Timber Creek Ward Chapel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints located at 7200 Duncan Lane, Boise. Friends may call to visit with the family from 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at the church prior to the services. Interment will follow at the Idaho State Veterans Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Relyea Funeral Chapel. Nancy left us too soon and she will be missed very much.
