Funeral services were conducted Monday in Wellington LDS chapel for Lehi Jessen, 77, who died Friday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Rebecca Larsen of Price.
Mr. Jessen was born December 2, 1860 at Fort Ephriam, a son of Jesse and Anna Marie Putrum Jessen. He had been a stockman and farmer most of his life and had resided in Price for the part six years His wife, Mrs. Mariette Jessen, died there in 1927.
Surviving are three sons and six daughters: William Jessen of Boneta, Henry and Dowd Jessen of Price, Mrs. Pearl McConkie of Roosevelt, Mrs. Millie Larsen of Wellington, Mrs. Wilma McConkie of Vernal, Mrs. Thursey Reynolds, Mrs. Ruby Empey and Mrs. Larsen of Price; 36 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Burial was in the Wellington cemetery.
