Barbara Edge Burdick, 87, of Exton, PA passed away on Friday, April 15, 2005 at The Inn at Freedom Village Brandywine. Born in Caln Township, PA she was the daughter of the late W. Gilbert Edge and Laura Thomas Edge. Mrs. Burdick was a graduate of the Westtown School, class of 1935. She was affiliated with The Valley Garden Club, Chester County Hopsital Auxiliary, Meals on Wheels, American Cancer Society Reach Recovery Program, Uwchlan Conservation Trust and the West Whiteland Historical Commission.

Survivors include one son, Bingley L. Burdick, Jr of Cain, PA., two daughters, Barbara B. Aygen and Sybil B. Brown both of Florida, four grandchildren, one great grandchild, one sister, Dorothy E. H. O'Bannon and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 2pm, Wednesday, April 27, 2005 at the Burdick Family Mausoleum in Sunset Hill Cemetery. Condolences to the family may be conveyed online at www.mclanefuneralservices.com. Carson McLane Funeral Home.
