Mark E. Stephens, age 50, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, February 6 2018 at his home in Naples.

Mark was born August 15, 1967 in Dansville, a son of Carl & Phyllis (Washburn) Stephens. He was a former wood bender at Gunlocke Chair Co. in Wayland. In addition to his parents, Mark is also predeceased by a sister, Debra Sue Stephens.

Mark enjoyed motors of all kinds, he especially liked to work restoring his father's 1952 International Cub Tractor. He was especially fond of the Pittsburg Steelers, but most of all he loved spending time with his children & grandchildren.

Mark is survived by his children, Krista Stephens & Carl J. Stephens (fiancé Miranda Mathieu); his grandchildren, Trevor, Camden & Jaylin; his children's mother, Sharon Stephens; his siblings, Billy Stephens, Mary (Russell) Hart, Sue (Joe) Rawleigh, Jeff (Debra) Stephens, Cathy (Keith) Bowen, Jerry Stephens (Linda Smith), Gary Stephens, Connie (Randy) Azzi, Robin (Ron) Keller, Lisa Stephens, Amy (Chad) Chadwick & Karen Stephens; many nieces, nephews & cousins.

Burial will be in Clearview Cemetery, N. Cohocton.

Carl E. Stephens

A last rite was conducted Saturday in Wayland for Carl E. Stephens, 63, of Atlanta who died Wednesday (May 30, 1984) while cutting wood in Naples.

He was a native and life resident of this area and had retired in 1983 from Foster Wheeler Corp. in Dansville. He was a member of International Association of Machinists and Aero-space Workers, Local 1665 in Dansville.

Surviving are his wife, Phyllis Washburn Stephens; eight daughters, Mary Gill of Mt. Morris, Susan Rawleigh of Atlanta, Cathy Kline of Springwater and Connie, Robin, Lisa, Amy and Karen Stephens at home; five sons, William and Jeffery of Atlanta, Jerry, Gary and Mark at home; 11 grandchildren; five sisters, Ethelyn Brown of Slaytersville, Marjorie Washburn and Doris Francis of Wayland; Grace Mitchell of Springwater and Tereva Rupert of Georgia; five brothers, Reginald and Bernard of Wayland, Robert of North Cohocton, Neal of Atlanta and Wesley of Naples; and nieces, nephews and cousins.

Burial was in Clearview Cemetery, North Cohocton.
