Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00AM at St. Genevieve Catholic Church on Saturday, February 10, 2018 for Mrs. Eula Marie Montet Taylor, 90, who passed away on February 7, 2018 with her loving family by her side.
Burial will take place in Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery.
Eula, a resident of Lafayette, was the daughter of the late Cyprien Montet and the former Angelina Kidder.
She is survived by four daughters, Angela Solis and husband, David, Yvette Hidalgo and husband, Brennan, Melissa Thibodeaux and husband, Herman, Jr. and Sharon Harrison and husband, Jeff; six sons, Donald Taylor and wife, Barbara, Malcolm Taylor and wife, Wanda, Tommy Taylor, Rusty Taylor, Tony Taylor and wife, Trisha and Kevin Taylor and wife, Deborah; daughter-in-law, Janet Bishop Taylor; sister-in-law, Florence Montet; 16 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lee K Taylor; two sons, Larry J. Taylor and Mark Allen Taylor; one sister, Ella Guidry and two brothers, Clarence Montet and J.C. Montet and one daughter-in-law, Connie L. Taylor.
Eula was a member of the St. Leo Altar Ladies and Catholic Daughters. She was also a Eucharistic Minister at St. Leo Church.
