Evelyn Wilkerson Wade, 84, of Chesnee, SC, passed away Saturday, February 3, 2018.
Born September 3, 1933, daughter of the late Loster M. and Lelia M. Wilkerson; widow of Carroll O. Wade.
Retired from Arrow Automotive and a long-time member of Central Baptist Church, Cowpens, SC.
Survived by a son, Steve Wade (Belinda) of Chesnee; a daughter, Carolyn Stone (Bobby) of Boiling Springs; a sister, Bonnie Jolley (Furman); and grandchildren, Shannon Derriso (Steve), Clint Wade (Shannon), Taylor Wade (Taylor).
Predeceased by a brother, Larry Wilkerson.
Mrs. Wade fought a long, hard, courageous battle and the family would like to express a special thanks to the amazing staff of the Spartanburg Regional Hospice House for all their love and care.
The family received friends Monday, February 5, 2018 from 6:00-8:00 pm at the Bobo Funeral Chapel.
Funeral services were 2:00 pm, Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at Central Baptist Church, Cowpens, officiated by Rev. Jason Metcalf and Rev. Allen D. Blanton.
In lieu of flowers, donations could be made to the Spartanburg Regional Hospice House, 686 Jeff Davis Drive, Spartanburg, SC 29303.
