Bobby D. Caldwell, 86, of Deer Creek, went home to be with the Lord at 5:15 a.m. Saturday, February 3, 2018 at St. Elizabeth Healthcare Center in Delphi. He was born on July 21, 1931 in Logansport to Glay and Mamie (Davis) Caldwell. He married the love of his life, Kathrynn R. Featherstone, on February 27, 1955. She preceded him in death on June 27, 2014.

Bobby was a lifelong farmer in Deer Creek. He was also a machinist and retired from Matthew Warren Spring in 2008. He was a member of Deer Creek Presbyterian Church in Deer Creek and enjoyed airplanes, building model airplanes, bird watching, and hot air ballooning, big band music and attending air shows. His family was his life. He especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He served his country in the Air Force during the Korean Conflict.

Surviving family include three children; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one sister. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; infant brother, James; son-in-law, David Cunningham; and a great-grandson, Jacoby.
