Hipolito "Polo", 78, a longtime Lordsburg resident, passed away Wednesday, January 13, 2018 at Whittier Hospital Medical Center in Whittier, California.

Hipolito was born January, 11, 1940 to Jose and Paula Mendoza Aquino. He served his country honorably in the United States Air Force. He was an electrician engineer for over 30 years and was involved with the Salt River Project. He was a communicant of the Catholic Church.

He is survived by three brothers: John, Fernando and Jose Aquino; three sisters: Linda Chavez, Rose Mirabal and Mercy Aquino; and nieces and nephews.
