MARTHA B. WILLARD, 95, of Mount Zion Road, Sabillasville, Md., passed away Feb. 1, 2018, at Quincy Nursing Home. Born Oct. 29, 1922, in Lantz, Md., she was the daughter of the late Henry R. and Janetta M. Kendall Smith. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Glen K. Willard Jr. Together, they owned and operated Willard's Turkey Farm before his passing in December 1991.
She is survived by three children, Eugene Willard, Joyce Early, and Bonnie Delauter; her son-in-law, Thomas Moler; two sisters, Mildred Eyler of Emmitsburg, Md., and Josephine Eyler of Thurmont, Md.; one brother, Bennie Smith of Sabillasville; 6 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Martha E. Moler; one grandson; two sisters; and six brothers.
Funeral services will be held at J.L. Davis Funeral Home, Smithsburg. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery, Cascade, Md.
