OBITUARY :
HENRY R. SMITH, aged 77 years, died suddenly Wednesday night at his home near Cascade.
The son of the late William and Cornelia (Buhrman) Smith, he is survived by his wife, Janetta (Kendall) Smith, and the following children: Harry Smith, Lantz; Mrs. Edward Baker, Sabillasville; William Smith, Mercersburg; Mrs. Glen Willard, Jr., Lantz; Charles Smith, Lantz; Mrs. Carl Eyler, Lantz; Harvey Smith, Lantz; Mr. Lee Eyler, Thurmont; Benny Lee Smith, Lantz; brothers and sisters, William A. Smith, Lantz; Joseph, Hagerstown; Harry, Illinois; Mrs. Harvey Miller, Thurmont; 27 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at the Creager Funeral Home, Thurmont, at 2:30 Saturday, the Rev. James 0. Bissell officiating.
Burial will be made in the Bethel Church of God Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home afternoon on Friday.
