She was born 22 Nov 1868 in New Castle, Lawrence County, Pa. Her parents were John W. McClymonds and Mary Jane Campbell. She had two brothers William and Joseph Campbell and three sisters Nina A. Curtis, Catherine Woody and Mildred McClymonds.

In 1890 she married Redman David Hooser but did divorce sometime in the late 1920's. She had two daughters Nina Hooser Lowery and Ruby Dorothy Gillespie. Nina was probably named after her sister.

She died 01 Feb 1968 in Pittsburg, Oklahoma
