Mary Antoinette Hickel-Gombold

Indianapolis - 93, died January 30, 2018. She was born March 25, 1924 in Newman, Illinois to Anthony and Emmaline Rund Bosch. Mary was proud that she was one of six children, was raised on a farm in Doulas County Illinois. She attended St. Mary of the Woods College. She was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Noblesville, several bridge clubs and the Canadian Club. She volunteered at St. Vincent Hospital and Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church. Mary is preceded in death by her husbands William Hickel and Leonard Gombold. She is survived by her children Penelope S. (Timothy) Hughes, Anthony (Nancy) Hickel, Scot Hickel, Jessica J. Hickel, Kelley J. (William Brown) Hickel, Bill Manning, sister Elizabeth (George) Casey, brother John (Marlene) Bosch, grandchildren Matthew, Zachary, J. Samuel Hughes, Katherine Hemlock, Thaddeus Hickel, William, Jackson, Colleen, Meredith and Timothy Brown and 7 great grandchildren. Visitation will be Friday February 2, from 2 - 3 pm at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church at 5692 Central Ave., Indianapolis, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 3 pm. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens. Memorials in Mary's name may be made to Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church. Services entrusted to Feeney-Hornak Keystone Mortuary.
