David T. Symonds, 14, of Dowagiac, passed on Monday, January 29, 2018.

A graveside gathering will be held on Friday, February 2, 2018, at 1pm at the cemetery of Sacred Heart of Mary Church in Sister Lakes. Memorial contributions may be made to Lewis Cass Intermediate School District. Those wishing to leave a condolence online may do so at www.clarkch.com.

David was born on August 23, 2003, to Bob & Ann (Allen) Symonds in Dowagiac. He attended North Point Center School. David enjoyed going for walks and rides in his van, the bumpier the ride the better! He was fascinated with science, the universe and the stars. David enjoyed learning about nature, animals and the earth. David was a happy child.

David was survived by his parents Ann Symonds of Dowagiac and Bob Symonds of Dowagiac; siblings, Christopher and Michael Symonds of Dowagiac; caregiver Marcel Lillie; Chris Coplen; and his teachers, schoolmates and therapist.
