Mildred Louise Cole, 88, passed away January 30, 2018 at St. Bernard's Medical Center.

She was born December 8, 1929 in Poinsett County to Will Stitt and Viola Flotz Stitt.

She retired from ASCS, now Farm Service Agency in Harrisburg for 30 years, was a member of the Red Hat Society, Harrisburg Garden Club, Fun Ladies Club, Harrisburg Progressive Club. She also was a Braille worker and a member of Zion Lutheran Church.

She is preceded in death by her husband, William J. Cole they had fifty wonderful years of Marriage: her parents, Viola and Will Stitt; two sisters, Cleda Logan and Oral Reddmann and a brother Doris Monroe.

She is survived by six nieces, Betty (James) Cooper, Dianna Neff, Donna Watson , Cynthia (Russ) Hannah, Gina Armstrong, and Paulette Luter; a nephew, Jerry (Lana) Reddmann: four caregivers, Sonia Stayton, Joy Zirbel, Deloris Clements and Marcia Miller; her hairdresser and friend of 50 years, Donna Turnage, and a host of other relatives and friends all of whom she loved dearly.

A celebration of her life will be Friday at 2 pm at the Zion Lutheran Church in Waldenburg with Rev Joel Krogen officiating. Burial will follow at Harrisburg Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Gregg-Weston Funeral Home.

Friends may visit at the church Friday from 12-2 pm.

Pallbearers will be Keith Reddmann, Kevin Reddmann, Jordan Reddmann, Blaine Gardner, Todd Gardner, Ronald Craft and Logan Reddmann.
