REYNOLDS, MATTHEW J. (MACK) age 80 of Halls passed away on Monday Nov. 1, 2007 at U. T. hospital as a result of injuries incurred in a farming accident while doing what he loved. Veteran of W.W.II with the U. S. Army. Retired from U. S. Postal Service with 30 years of service. He was also past Master of Andersonville Masonic Lodge #383 with over 52 years of membership. Preceded in death by parents; Carson and Virgie Reynolds, brothers; Lee and Eugene Reynolds, sister; Elenore Reynolds. Survived by wife of 60 years Iva Reynolds, son and daughter in-law; Mike and Carrie Reynolds of Raleigh, N.C. grandchildren; Emily and Tyler, sisters; Mary Jeorline "Jerry" Douglas and Osa Petree, And Several nieces and nephews and many close friends. Funeral service 8:00 pm Sunday at Mynatt's Funeral Home Halls Chapel with Rev. Lester Mullins and Rev. Doug Fielden officiating. Family and friends will meet at the funeral home 10:30 am. Monday and proceed to Cedar Grove Baptist Church Cemetery for graveside interment service at 11:00 am. With full military honors provided by East Tennessee Veterans Honor Guard. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Cedar Grove Baptist Church, Cedar Grove Church Rd.
