Charles T. Neubauer, 83, of Morton, passed away Sun., Jan. 28, 2018 at Apostolic Christian Restmor in Morton.
Charles was born May 16, 1934 in Sibley, Ill., to Benjamin and Frances (Green) Neubauer. He married Beverly Reiners on Jan. 20, 1957 in Chenoa, Ill.
Surviving are his wife, Beverly of Morton; one son, Craig (Sandy) Neubauer of Morton; and one grandson, Brett Neubauer of Groveland.
He was preceded in death by his son, Steven Neubauer and two brothers, Donald and Lloyd Neubauer.
Charles is a United States Army veteran having served from 1954 to 1956.
He worked 40 years as a grain terminal and river terminal manager. He was also director of Grain Inspection Service of St. Louis. Charles served as a past president of the Peoria Board of Trade.
Charles was a member of Morton United Methodist Church.
He was an avid collector of toy antique trucks and he enjoyed playing bridge with his friends from Morton and would also find pleasure playing bridge while spending the winters in Destin, Fla. Charles was fond of traveling overseas and taking cruises. He was also able to visit all 50 states.

A funeral service will be held on Thurs., Feb. 1, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at Knapp-Johnson Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Morton. Rev. Gary L. Feldman will officiate. Visitation will also be held at the funeral home on Wed., Jan. 31, 2018 from 5 to 7 p.m. and from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. prior to the service on Thurs. Burial will be at Hirstein Cemetery in Morton.

Memorials may be made to Morton United Methodist Church.
