Obituary:
David Emanuel Inman, passed away January 24th, 2018 at his home surrounded by family. He was born November 10th, 1946 to Virgil and Marceline Inman in Waterloo, Iowa.
Dave honorably served his country with the US Army and was a Veteran of the Vietnam War where his bravery earned him 5 established medals.
Dave spent the last 32 years with the love of his life, his wife, Nancy (McAlister). He will be lovingly remembered by his wife and four children; Tammi Seering of Dowagiac, Mi; Jacqueline (Calvin) Beatty of Sabina, Ohio; Dennis Scott Bennett of LaPorte, In; Andrea (Clifford) Davis of South Bend, In. He will forever be the best Pops to Jackson, Christopher, Brooklynn, Dimitrius, Devin, Olivia, Gretchen and Aayden and Great-Pops to Christian, Raelyn and Dylan.
He is also survived by his mother, Merceline and sister, Cindy (Jim) Carlton.
Dave is preceded in death by his father and sister Cathy Camplin.
Dave was self-employed as a general contractor. He worked hard his whole life to provide for his family. He enjoyed "bickering" with Nancy over décor of each of their homes and was happy to finally settle in their most recent dream home. Dave had a great sense of humor and loved to make everyone laugh. The only thing Dave loved more than Mustangs, NASCAR and Pepsi was being a Dad to his kids and a Pops to the grandkids and great-grandkids.
The family will lay this carpenter's hands to rest 1:00 p.m. Monday January, 29th 2018 at The Welsheimer Family Funeral Home North, 17033 Cleveland Road. Burial will follow at Saint Joseph Valley Memorial Park Cemetery, with Military Honors. Visitation will be 2:00 until 6:00 p.m. Sunday, Jan 28th at the funeral home and one hour prior to the services on Monday. Family and friends may leave e-mail condolences at www.welsheimer.com
