Edal then applied to for entrance at US Console in Québec per a pre-examination application in 4 Nov 1912. She then traveled to Topeka, KS by railroad with her 2 year old daughter Pauline. Later moved to Kansas City, Mo. per the 1930 census (listed as Ada). The family then moved to Washington, DC 1941 and their daughter Sarah married William Dargoff on 1 Oct 1941 in Leesburg, Va.
