Charles Carroll Mactavish, a great-great grandson of Charles Carroll of Carrollton, signer of the Declaration of Independence, and a grandson of General Winfield Scott, died yesterday at the age of 92.
Mr. Mactavish for the past fifteen years had lived at 3037 St. Paul street.
He was educated at private schools here and in England. Until fifteen years ago he traveled extensively throughout Europe and the Middle East with his wife, the late Mrs. Mary Bergin Mactavish.
He was a member of many clubs in Baltimore, Europe and in Newport, R.I., where he had a summer home.
Funeral service will be held at 9 A.M. Wednesday at SS Philip and James's Church, Twenty-ninth and Charles streets. Burial will be in the New Cathedral Cemetery.
