Mrs. Benoit was a native and lifelong resident of Breaux Bridge. She was a parishioner of St. Bernard Catholic Church where she taught catechism for many years. She was an educator in the St. Martin Parish School System for more than thirty years. She was a devoted housewife and an adoring mother and grandmother who was loved very much. She truly enjoyed helping others.
Survivors include her husband of fifty-nine years, John Benoit of Breaux Bridge; one son, Paul Benoit (Melissa Benoit) of Breaux Bridge; two grandchildren, Brooklyn Benoit and Alexis Benoit; three great grandchildren, London Davitt, Paris Davitt and Maddix Courville; one great grandchild on the way; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter Broussard and the former Lillian Landry.
