Emma Jane (Hamilton) Burke, 70, of Prospect, KY, passed away Thursday, September 27, 2006 at Baptist Hospital Northeast in LaGrange. She was born on September 11, 1937 in Henderson, KY.
She was a retired nurse and manager of outpatient and Mental Health Center for Seven County Services and was a member of the Church of the Epiphany.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Samuel R. Hamilton.
She is survived by her husband of 14 years, a son, three stepchildren, three sisters, a brother, and eight grandchildren.
Her funeral Mass will be celebrated 1 p.m. Monday, Church of the Epiphany, 914 Old Harrods Creek Road, with burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Sunday.
