Ollie Pearl Taylor, 88 of Friona passed away January 19, 2018 in Friona. Celebration of Life Services have been scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at Calvary Baptist Church in Friona with Pastor Bobby Broughton, officiating. Burial following in the Friona Cemetery by Blackwell-Mullins Funeral Home of Friona.

Ollie Pearl was born January 29, 1929 in Oklahoma to Paul and Opal Bradley Strickland. She married Ruben Taylor December 1, 1948 and kept the books at the family business Taylor and Sons Welding.

She was very gifted in making porcelain dolls and many craft items. She loved fishing, doing puzzles, playing cards and spending time with her family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and 1 daughter-Renee’ James.

Continuing the legacy is one son-Steve Taylor and wife Catherine of Hereford, 1 daughter-Paula Howard and husband Eddie of Levelland, 1 sister-Elwanda Campbell of Friona, 1 son-in-law- Randy James of Tulia, 3 sister-in-laws- Ruth Miller of Friona, Joyce Marie Jones and Lois Strickland, both of Clovis, 16 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great-grandchildren.
