Alma Gereline Arthur Riffitt, 78, of Wheelersburg, Ohio, formerly of Westwood, went home to her Lord and Savior on Thursday, January 18th in Concord Health and Rehabilitation Center following an extended illness.

Alma was born August 30, 1939 in Ashland, KY a daughter of the late Albert and Louise Fain Arthur. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Riffitt and 3 sisters, Wilma Castle, Bethany Holbrook, and Doris Blanton.

Alma loved her extended family at Concord Health and Rehab and enjoyed her years living in Myrtle Beach, pier fishing and singing in church. She was especially fond of her family that she dearly loved, 2 sons; Greg Ison (Carol) of Ashland and Jeff Ison (Virginia) of Franklin Furnace; a daughter; Rhonda Hicks of Wheelersburg, Ohio; a brother; Tony Arthur (Darlene) of Westwood, Ky.; two sisters, Lorraine Patrick and Daphne Gentry of Ohio; and six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, January 23rd, at 1:00 PM at Preston Family Funeral Home by Brother Randy Patrick. Burial will be in the Haver Hill Cemetery, Haver Hill, Ohio. Visitation is Tuesday from 11:00 until service time.
