Funeral services for Rory Wayne Anderson, 58, of Ashland, LA will be held at 2 P.M. Friday, January 19, 2018 at Rockett-Nettles Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Zach Anderson officiating. Interment will follow in Beulah Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6 P.M. until 9 P.M. Thursday, January 18, 2018 at the funeral home.
Mr. Anderson was born February 12, 1959 in Mansfield, LA and passed away January 15, 2018. Rory enjoyed spending time outdoors. He had a passion for hog hunting and loved roping and riding horses. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother and will be dearly missed by all those who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Krystal Anderson; infant grandson, Brody; parents, Bobby and Millie Anderson; maternal grandparents, Travis and Laney Cobb; and paternal grandparents, Bernace and Louella Anderson.
Rory is survived by his wife, Christy Anderson of Ashland, LA; children: Shonda Anderson of Marthaville, LA; Lacy Powell and husband, Wesley of Marthaville, LA; Savannah Anderson of Texas; Travis Anderson and Havana of Pleasant Hill, LA; Colby Pardee and Lacey of Castor, LA; Matthew Anderson of Ashland, LA; Harley Pardee of Blanchard, LA; Alanna Anderson of Ashland, LA; Emily Anderson of Texas; Emma Anderson of Ashland, LA; and Gavin Anderson of Ashland, LA; two brothers, Glenn Anderson and wife, Mechell of Martin, LA and Gary Anderson of Pleasant Hill, LA; two sisters, Terri Rawls and husband, Tim of Marthaville, LA and Cynthia James and husband, Stanley of Pleasant Hill, LA; grandchildren: Katelyn, Hunter, Gunner, Weslyn, Presley, Harper, Jase, Drake, Blayne, Jaylen, Owen and Cutter; and numerous nieces and nephews.
