Jerry Lee Stanley, age 57, of Pine Level passed away at his home on January 17, 2018. Born in Johnston County on October 19, 1960, he was the son of the late Nathan and Annie Pearl Wheeler Stanley.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Rayford Stanley, sister Cathy Jo Stanley, in-laws Robert and Mollie Jackson and his best friend Gary Brown. Jerry operated Jerry’s Paint Company for over 30 years and attended Holt’s Pond Church of God of Prophecy.
The family will receive friends at Parrish Funeral Home in Selma Saturday from 11am until 12 noon followed by a funeral service at noon with Rev. Jimmy Earp officiating. Burial will be in the cemetery at Barbour’s Chapel Church near Four Oaks.
Surviving are his wife, Betty Jackson Stanley; sons Jerry Lee Stanley, Jr. and wife Kelly of Princeton, Coy Stanley and wife Ashley of Micro; his sisters Cindy Stanley of Murfreesboro, Debbie Branch and husband Everette of Bracey, VA, Terry Ortega and husband Miguel of Smithfield, Wanda Smith and husband Mike of Indian Trail; grandchildren Kyra and Mali Stanley; and his extended family, Bobby Jackson and wife Barbara of Benson, Vickie Murphy and husband Steve of Four Oaks, Betty Townsend of Princeton, Greg Townsend and wife Pam of Princeton, and Mike Townsend of Princeton.
