Daughter of Abigail Hale and Jonathan Rose. She was baptized on August 2, 1713 (Connecticut Church Record Abstracts). Damaris Rose married Oliver Treat (May 31, 1705–October18, 1785) on May 12, 1747. Damaris died age 87. "She was noted for her beauty of person and the brightness of her intellect. He was a farmer." (The Treat Family, pp. 490, 496).
