Ellen E. Rockwell GRAPEVINE -- Ellen E. Rockwell passed away on Thursday, Dec. 21, 2017, in Grapevine. She was 79 years of age. Ellen was born a farmer's daughter in Wakeeney, Kansas. She loved to travel, especially on Caribbean Cruises, but her favorite place to go was Maui, Hawaii. Her favorite thing to do was dance. She also loved playing "31" with the Wednesday night table #1 girls at the Grapevine Elks Lodge. She always had a magnetic smile. Ellen never met a bad person, and only saw the good in people. She was a loving, giving, gentle person with an infectious laugh. SURVIVORS: She is survived by her husband, Barry; daughter, Gay Lyn Maulding and her son, Dillon; son, Gary Block and his wife, Rhonda; grandson, Jimmie Chance; granddaughter, Tonya Kelsh; great-granddaughters, Hailey and Trenety; sister, Dorthy; and her beloved shih-tzu, Beaux.
