The funeral will be 2:00 PM Saturday, June 21, at Second Saint Paul Missionary Baptist Church, 1900 Cherrytown Road, Hallsboro, NC. Burial will be in the Hallsboro Memorial Park.
Viewing will be at Peoples Funeral Home of Whiteville Friday from 12:00 to 7:00 PM and at the church Saturday following the service.
Surviving are daughters, Queen Jackson and Willie Mae Cherry of Bronx, NY; sons, Henry Walker of Statesville, GA, Charles D. Cherry of Elizabeth City, NC, Jessie Cherry of Bronx, NY, James Cherry of Queens, NY, Joseph Cherry of Central Islip, NY, and Vaughn Cherry of Whiteville. NC.
