Here under-lyeth the body of William Hockmore of Buckland Baron in the countie of Devon Esquire, who was borne at Floyers Hayes near Exeter yª first day of November (1581) and dyed the tenth day of October 1626 who had to wife Jane, eldest daughter and sole heire to Sir Bartholomew Michell of Canni[n]gton in the countie of Somerset Knight, who was borne the sixteenth day of July (1584) and dyed the first day of June (1625) the said William Hockmore [and] the said Jane had issue foure sonnes and two daughters; ([?]) Gregory eldest sonne and heire [to] the said William who was borne the thirteenth day of May (1611) Richard yª second sonne, who was borne the first day of July (1615) and dyed young. William the third sonne who was borne the twentyfourth day of May (1616) and dyed unmarried. Susanna eldest daughter who was borne the fifteenth day of June (1613) Frances the second daughter and youngest child who was borne [?]teenth day of September (1620) here also lyeth the body of yᵉ above named wife to yᵉ above name [William Hockmore Esq]
