Celebration of Life for J D Grissom, 82 are set for 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at Memorial Funeral Home with Bro. Mike Lee and Bro. Tim Dixon officiating. Burial will be in the Grissom Chapel Cemetery.
J D died January 4, 2018 at his residence.
He was born June 18, 1935 in Tishomingo Co. MS. to the late Homer and Onie Grissom.
He was a member of West Corinth Pentecostal Church.
He was a brick mason before he went to work and retired from World Color. He enjoyed working in his yard and spending time with his family.
Preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Homer Ray Grissom, James Earl Grissom; sisters Christine Vanderford, Clara Bray.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Lora Faye Grissom; son, Tim (Nancy) Grissom; daughter, Teresa (Van) Smith; sisters, Joyce (Bozo) Crow, Louise (J.W. Talley); grandchildren Cody Grissom, Colton Grissom, Hannah Grissom, Tererra (Dustin) Strickland, Tyler Smith; great grandchildren Cayson Grissom, Drew Grissom; host of other family and friends.
