George A. Carr, age 81 of Hamilton, passed away at Butler County Care Facility on Wednesday, January 10, 2018. George was born in Liberty Township, Ohio on February 19, 1936 to Clarence Carr and Bessie (Hicks) Carr. George was a Train Engineer at Armco Steel for 41 years. After retirement, he enjoyed driving school buses on school field trips and also to class trips. In 1968, he married Doris Ann Adams, and she preceded him in death in 2002.

George is survived by his wife, Imogene Carr; his children, Dennis (Diane) Carr, Crystal Little, Doug Carr, Boyd (Cindy) Carr, and Chad (Connie) Carr; his grandchildren, Brandon (Elizabeth) Manning, Katlin (Anthony) Arguello, Cody Carr, Brooke Carr, Nick Carr, Casey Carr, and Cooper Carr,; 3 great grandchildren, Hailey Manning, Xander and Apollo Arguello; his brothers, Wayne (Ruth) Carr and Gene (Laverne) Carr; his brother in law, Orville Blackmore. George was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Doris Ann Carr; and his siblings, Homer (Jeanette) Carr, Ira (Irene) Carr, Lewis (Agnes) Carr, Mildred Blackmore, and Walter Carr.

Funeral service at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, Hamilton, Ohio, with Kenny Lawson and Pastor Aaron Miller officiating. Burial at Darrtown Cemetery.
